The Bryan/College Station Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is part of a national network of more than 1,600 chapters with a current membership of approximately 90,000 women.This local chapter, established in 1979, currently has an active membership of about 50 local women.

The chapter membership is quite diverse and includes business owners and professionals working in finance, municipal government, the hospitality industry, communications, real estate, health, advertising, retail, banking, tax, and education (including members of the professional staff and faculty at Texas A&M University and the public schools).
